📘 Story: The Day Units Went on Strike!

One morning, all the **units and symbols** in Ravi's science notebook went on strike! 🚨

“Enough is enough!” shouted **metre (m)**, “Ravi wrote me as 'M' and people think I'm mega!”

“I’m not 'Kg' or 'KG', I’m 'kg'!” added the annoyed **kilogram**.

Then came **newton**, fuming, “They keep writing ‘Newton’ with a capital N in the sentence!”

“But my symbol is capital 'N',” said newton proudly, “I’m named after a great scientist!”

Ravi opened his book and begged, “Please teach me the rules, I promise I’ll write you all correctly!”

📏 Golden Rules for Writing Units

• ✅ Use lowercase for most symbols: metre = m, gram = g, second = s
• ✅ Use uppercase symbol if named after a scientist: kelvin = K, newton = N
• ✅ Always leave a space between number and unit: 10 m, 500 K
• ✅ Full names are lowercase even if named after someone: newton, not Newton
• ✅ No plurals for symbols: write 15 m, not 15 ms
• ✅ No full stop after unit symbol unless ending a sentence
